The bottom line is Tebow wasn't a great college QB mechanically (he won games with his feet more than his arm) and he won't be a good NFL QB. I tend to believe people like Merril Hodge and John Clayton who know a thing or two about football. Is he a good guy? Probably, but that doesn't mean he's going to be a good pro.

Chris, I agree with everything you said.

Of course it is all opinion until time proves this out but I too do not see an NFL type QB in Tebow. I don't know much about his personal life other then what I have read here and there. It is good to know he isn't a jerk or idiot or semi-criminal like too many NFL players are now days but the bottom line is none of it can make him an accurate passer nor help him learn to read defenses. I have yet to see anything special about him as a possible NFL caliber QB. He does have the size to play HB/FB or LB but again this is not the QB position which in my opinion is THE hardest position to play in the NFL. I have seen plenty of great athletes fail before him and that is what I see with Tebow, a great athlete. Somebody may be able to mold him into an NFL QB but from what I have seen so far he is still quite a ways off of being there at this point.

And yet you forgot the 150 I.Q. The will to not be denied. The winning is everything attitude, The ability to throw flat footed 60 yrds, or run over NFL linebackers and he is not inaccurate, he has a problem with taking the snap under center. I hope to hell that they cut him. Pay him the millions owed and come to South Beach.

John Elway had the worst rookie year recorded.

I like Tebow, but I think he'd be a better fit as a FB or TE. He's a winner and as tough as they come. I'd take him in Indy for a FB. We definitely need help there.

A 150 IQ is no use if you can't accuratey throw a 12 yard out route. Everyone and their brother seems to realize he isn't a good QB except for you It's all a crap shoot anyways...no one will ever know unless he actually gets to play QB regularly.
