    NFL free agency!

The lockout was a bunch of crap, but this is kinda exciting seeing these teams scramble to sign guys and make trades. Here locally, it's cool to see Carson Palmer's bluff called. I normally hate everything this owner does, but he stuck it to Palmer, who essentially walked out on his team and obligation. However, they replace him with...Gradowski, a career 6-14 starter. Yeah, that'll get it done.

    Mcnabb to Vikings? Cool move.

    Haynesworth to Patriots? Risky

    Hasselbeck to Titans? meh.

    Burris to Giants? humorous

    Bush to Dolphins? meh

As down on the NFL as I've been lately, it's great to see this thing get going again. I was fully prepared to immerse myself in college ball, I just didn't have a team to pull for.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

It's funny how Cincinnati is down on Palmer for what he is doing...but the national media thinks he is sticking to his guns and sending a message to the owner. "I don't want to play on this dysfunctional, felon-stricken team."

I don't have a dog in the hunt...just interesting to see the two perspectives.

I agree J. They really should have made an attempt to keep him. I don't have a clue who else they have at QB. Matt is a solid to really good QB and is a super quality guy to have on a team, so I wish him the best in Ten. I just don't think he'll make too much difference on that team in it's current form. I hope I'm wrong.

                It's a two-fold argument.

On one side, Palmer tried to make a statement about the status of the team and their mis-management. He could have been vocal about this for years, but decides instead to walk away from the teammates who have supported him over his career as well as the poor fans of this town who hung all of their football dreams squarely on his shoulders.

However, Mike Brown could actually get something of value in trading him and improve his team. He's willing to undercut his organization just to make a point by forcing him into realy retirement.

This entire organization is a joke and has been for 20 years. I love football and the NFL and am glad to be able to see it come to town 8 times a year even if the only team on the field is the visiting one.

With BK's luck it'll be Seattle.

Haynesworth and Ochocinco. Not sure we can handle all this rehab in New England.
