Wow all that for 138,000, thats amazing, nice looking place, nice grounds, I can seriously imagine myself there. For that money I could buy myself a very small appartment here 40m2, somewhere on the outskirts of warsaw and back in london a box room

Congrats. You're always better taking the chance and not paying rent.
Exactly what I was thinking. That would cost me more than double that where I am. Move it to Suburban Boston and you're looking $350-$400,000. I just closed on a 2b/1B condo as rental property and when my daughter graduates in 3 years I think I'm gonna sell the house and buy another condo, for myself, with the equity. It's not a doll it's an action figure.Comment

Here are some crappy ones of the house by one of the Real Estate agents. 4023 Baughman Cutoff Rd, Harrison, AR 72601 MLS# 125204 - Zillow
Thanks for the kind words folks. Its been a long road getting to this point with lots of sacrifices along the way but is indeed worth it.
As far as the Toy Room's location, thankfully my lovely wife Alicia is just as big a dork as I so we will have some interesting pieces throughout the house. Those pics will be coming in the next 30 to 60 days
That house over here is 500K...even more, depending on the neighborhood...lol.
I gotta move outta the Bay Area...and get me one of those!!!
Oh wait...it's HOT AS HELL in Arizona...

It is this yearActually it is every year. Arkansas isn't too bad a place to be Hector. The money sucks though. So while the $138K doesn't appear to be a bad price, when you compare to income levels it all averages out. Still, it beats Mississippi.
I could own a three story mansion in Mississippi with $138K. But then again it is Mississippi.
The even better part with this deal is that we worked it so that almost everything you see in the house comes with it. I'm not an ****** or anything but it is a buyers market and the house has been for sale for well over a year. So all those new appliances and that sweet living room set up is soon to find my fat arse cooking on it and camping out on it, respectively.
I really am stoked but just wiped out about the whole thing. Not *****ing mind you just wore down with the 11 hour a day, one man TV thing going on along with the house buying process. My wife Alicia has been the real champion on this. She's been the one dealing with all the paperwork and crap all the while wrestling with now 19 month old "I am so super-independent I can do everything by myself" Kaitlynn. My role is basically to sign stuff and then pay or itOh yeah, hunter gather Jim right here!
I have the contract in hand that we will turn in tomorrow for the seller to sign and then to our lender on Monday. For all intents and purposes the deal is done. And funny enough the biggest thing I'm looking forward to is breaking out all my crap and getting it set up in its new home. Yep I am indeed a true dork at my very core.Comment
