a REAL Planet of the Apes scenario?

Just came across this story. Man, science is really getting scary. It's really getting pretty comic book like out there.

I am more curious as to what some of these things may look like

Nothing is ever as cool or creepy as you would imagine.

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

The results would probably seem no more odd superficially than an old guy walking around with a pig's aortic valve in his chest would. I don't think they have test tubes sitting around with centaur fetuses in them.

Anyone remember OLIVER? They brought him to our high school in the late '70s as the "Missing Link". It was a news story for a couple months. I went to see it, he walked around on a leash & waved. Weird.

Won’t we all be a part of the singularity by the time that happens anyway?
