This is terrible. The death toll increases each time I look at the news.

The even worst part is trying to figure out how to end this kind of extremist terrorism. I really feel for the military folks around the world who are trying to figure these things out. I do hope however that the group who is so quick to take responibility is tracked down and bombed so far into the depths of hell that Bin Laden says, "Hey Saddam! Did you know it gets even deeper? Look at these schmucks!"

It was a Norwegian, it looks like, although some Muslim groups are trying to take the credit for it. Terrible news, and even the more shocking to hear it coming from Norway, an extremely peaceful and safe nation.

Very shocking, my thoughts and prayers go out to all the families who have lost someone in this. I feel sick at the thought that anyone could do such a thing.

Just horrible. My thoughts are with them, too. Why does there have to be so much hate all of the time?
                It's all good!

The news this morning is that the killer was a right-wing Catholic extremist.
If this has anything to do with his motives is anybody's guess.
Let's just say that we know for certain that he was absolutely sick in the head.
The Norwegian prime minister stated that the extreme right-wing movement in the country is becoming a serious problem. They believe that he had an accomplice who is still at large. A large quantity of undetonated explosives has also been found on the island where the young people were gunned down.

I think they're initially saying it had nothing to do with any sort of movement, but that he was extremely mental, like Jared Loughner.

You can't. It's simply the actions of a seriously unstable individual. Now if they were aware of his condition, were they aware of his possible actions? I'd be interested in knowing if he was a current psyche patient. Did they know he was dangerous and left him in public because of his rights? Should he have been locked up prior to this? We have the ability to detain a person, for hours, at an airport simply because of his name, but not for an extended period of time for mental instability.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

They checked the guy's computer, which was full of "I'm on a crusade to rid the Western society of anyone who's not white". He wrote a 1,500 page manifesto on it, and had been announcing actions since 2009. He wanted to strike a blow against the multi-cultural society.
He had a list of targets, one of the highest on the list were two nuclear plants in Belgium. Hey, it's nice to be popular....
