Report: Jets videotaped Pats last season - NFL - MSNBC.com

When the Jets do it the Pats just tells the guy to leave
When the Pats do it the Jets go crying to the NFL.

I read the Jets had permission to do it.

"All filming at last year's Patriots game was done with pre-approval from the Patriots and in accordance with NFL rules," Bruce Speight, the Jets' senior director of media relations, told Newsday.

Now the Pats bring this up? give me a break...they're still the cheaters of 07,bringing this up won't change that. They still lost $750,000 and a 1st rounder, what did the Jets lose?

What you expect the Jets to say "yes we cheated", If the guy had permission why did they ask him to leave.

You didn't read the whole thing. The last paragraph
"An NFL source told Newsday that the league office is unaware of the of the incident and that the Patriots did not bring up the situation while under investigation."

Looks like a reporter dug it up.

They updated the story. It now has a pro Jets spin. The last paragraph isn't even there any more.

As a fan of neither team (I'm rooting for my Cowboys to get to be the team that loses to the Patriots in the Super Bowl), I'm curious about this game from a Pats or Jets fan's perspective.

-For the Pats fan - how long do you play your first team for the sake of tghe perfect season? Does the bad blood make you risk the first teamk to run up the score?

-For the Jets fan - If the Pats do run up the score, do you take a shot at Brady or Moss or anyone else? I know that I myself have taken certain "moral victories" away from a game in which I though the other team was trying to humiliate us. Nothing permament, mind you, but definitely a reminder about the dangers of talking smack.

I saw a mock draft and if there is any truth to it, the Dolphins will not be picking him...they will go after the top defensive player in the draft.

New England has the #2 pick in the draft theoretically since they will get the 49'ers 1st round and he will end up in New England....how do they work the magic?

I highly doubt it,they will take the best athlete and best player which is Mcfadden and release Ricky or trade him. They don't want New England picking him up and running all over us for the next 12 years, the only thing that would change that pick would be if Tebow decides to go for the NFL and I don't think that's happening

It's already being discussed here in Boston. The Pats would never pay the high signing bonus to a top draft pick. This pick will be traded to someone for multiple picks this year and next year. They'll then turn those into solid middle round picks that will be starting in the years to come. They'll turn 1 high $$ pick into several solid players for short money. We'll never see that pick here in Foxboro. I 'd be interested in a couple of the top draft picks but I don't see it happening. It's not the way they do things.

I would hope that's the way it would go,but I'm pretty sure if they get a shot at McFadden, they'll take him in a heartbeat, not that they have a weakness on offense, but if they did.The running game would be the final touch for an even better offense
