Clean bill of health or did I really have a heart attack?

FYI went to the Doc today and he said I was doing "remarkably well".
I did so well on my stress test that he said he used me as an example to some fire fighters he was speaking to. Not too bad for a 49 yr old post heart attack dude!
Again, thanks for all the support during that time, it meant so much to me!

Are they absolutely sure it was a heart attack ?

The only reason i'm asking is I know someone who thought they had one and it turned out to be acid reflux ... It even fooled the doc from the start.

my uncle also had the same scenario. it turned out to be acid reflux too. and if it was a heart attack, did the doctors recommend a change in eating habits?

No, it was an Acute Mycardial Infarction . . . Heart Attack. 100% blockage of my right coronary artery. I have the stent to prove it.

Great news. Keep up with the doc's orders and you will be like me 6 years later and still on my feet. Although I did have to go back in for a couple more stents. Take care of yourself.
