Derby City Comic Con 2011

My old (but still mint) friend, MIB41 (Tom) and I went to the inaugural Derby City Comic Con yesterday in Louisville and had a blast. For those of you who live in the general area and didn't attend, you should definitely make plans to go in 2012 because I have a feeling this show is only going to get bigger and better as it progresses. It's in a good spot (downtown Louisville), has decent admission prices ($7.00) and loads of both artists who are talented and friendly and willing to do sketches without charging and arm and a leg and are selling prints of some of their stuff at reasonable prices.

I think it would have been worth your trip, my friend. I've already been in contact with the organizer behind it via Facebook to try and work with him on next year's show, so hopefully, I'll be able to get info out sooner to these boards if I do!
