    What camera do you use?

So what brand/type of digital camera are you peeps using to take your pictures for here/eBay and etc?

I have been thinking about upgrading my camera lately.

I personally tend to like HP products as I have had great luck with them although when it comes to cameras I have and use Sony brand.

I have had someone else recommend Cannon. I have been looking at the Canon Rebel for a while. Just not sure if I want to change brands though.

About 10 years ago my nephew gave me his old Fujifilm Finepix A101

It's about the worst digital camera ever but I can't complain because it was free

I think it's starting to die though ... Half the time it wont even work

I have a Kodak EasyShare Z650. It's only a 6 megapixel camera that we bought about 5 years ago, but it takes good pictures. It's the best digital camera I've ever owned. I had an HP before this one and it lasted a year before it encountered a hardware failure. My Kodak has been a pleasure so far.

Nikon Coolpix, it takes great pics outdoors, inside the colors tend to not show up true.

I have a Nikon D300S for digital an Old school Canon T-90 for Film. For simple point and shoot I use a Kodak easy share that still takes great pics for family or kiddie party's.

A lot of it really depends on your needs. I wanted a really decent camera that I could use for just about everthing from my kids playing sports, regular family photos, to Ebay, etc. I went with a Canon Rebel. You really can't go wrong with Canon or Nikon. I only chose Canon because I was pondering which to buy and happened to be standing next to a professional photographer who was looking at some lenses. He has owned both and said that for my needs he would recommend a Canon simply because the lenses are less expensive that Nikon for the same quality (in his opinion). You are gong to be spending $700+ on a nice digital camera and those lenses can run $400+ per lense but it has been one of those expenditures that I think is well worth it

I use 3 different types of different cameras.

I still have my first, a 1997 Kodak DC215 camera that uses a CF card. I have to use duct tape to seal the battery compartment. It takes 4 AA batteries and eats those quickly.

After that I upgraded to a Canon Powershot Sd600. And it uses a lithium battery. It's in fine shape still, way better than the Kodak, but it's gotten slower over time. I use it a lot on the MM board and on eBay.

Finally, the most recent is a Nikon, which I got last year. (might be a cool pic s8100 series, I think.) I don't recall what type because my wife mostly uses it. I think it was a $300 type camera and she found a deal at Costco.

I'd recommend any of the cameras I own given what year I bought them.
