About MM, it was the looks combined with her persona. Also, she was a quality actress when she was given the chance.

The statue brings to mind the Old Man's Leg Lamp in Christmas Story AND the poster for Attack Of The 50 Ft. Woman (where I always thought about the view those people on the street had).

Have you ever seen "Some Like It Hot"? Check that out! First of all, it's just an incredible and hilarious movie, second of all it's Monroe's best movie and best performance. I think it's still sexy now, but in 1969 I think it must have been mind blowing.
