Wilburys 100%. I never dug CSN&Y personally. I don't hate them, they're just not for me.

Where as Orbison, Dylan, Petty and Harrison are some of my favorite artists.

If I was stuck on a deserted isle, I'd take the CSN catalog. I love the Wilburys stuff, but I'm a bigger fan of what each did on their own. I consider them both "super groups" but they're not exactly apples to apples. The CSN guys had prior success as members of other groups primarily, while the Wilburys were an assembly of solo artists as far as I remember.

Wilburys.., Wilburys, Wilburys.. It's all in the personalities.. Ever watch a vintage Wilbury interview..?? They're hilarious.. George, Tom and Jeff together (or separate..) had the dryest senses of humor. They were awesome.

              Remember, "Where there's a way, there's a Wilbury."

I totally forgot about ELO! I don't count the Heartbreakers anymore than I would count the Delaware Detroyers or the Blackhearts. The Beatles go without saying, but they were well into the rear view mirror by the time George joined forces w/the other guys. I suck though...I just googled CSN and it says they are in the R&R HoF as both solo artists and the group.

Part of why I lean toward them is totally sentimental. When Daylight Again came out in '82, it was the first music in years that my dad and I could enjoy together. I was into Ozzy and VH and had left behind all the bands he had played on the old stereo when I was growing up. He hated hard rock, but we both really loved Daylight Again. I think it was the last album my dad bought, come to think of it.

Are CSN ****ed at Neil Young? There's no mention of him on their site.

If I had to pick who to hang out with, it would be the Wilburys in a landslide.

As far as music goes, I would pick the Wilburys, but I once picked up a CSN&Y "Deja Vu" album at a garage sale and evidently someone back in the late 70's decided that was a good place to hide their personal nude photos. Therefore, my vote goes to CSN&Y.

But if it's a cool contest, I give a write-in vote to The Highwaymen.

In a physical fight I think the WIlburys (when all alive) could take them. Unless they had undead Roy and George, that would make them unstoppable.

The Wilburys first album was fantastic and I practically played it on a daily basis for two years when it came out. I still play it occasionally. The second album was fun in spots, but only okay in comparison. (Roy had died after the first was released).

I don't own any CSN&Y albums, but I'd have to say their longevity and catalog of tunes is superior to the Wilburys. It's an arbitrary comparison, but I guess that's the point..
