congrats. looks like the puppy we adopted in April....she was American Eskimo mixed with something else, maybe beagle or lab and also maybe some type of terrier. she has the freckles on her skin as well. enjoy her.

Thanks for adopting a mixed breed instead of buying. How much does she weigh? She looks small, but stocky. Maybe the pictures make her seem tinier than she really is. Congrats on the new family member.

Adopting is the only way to go!
She is 25 pounds right now. 24" Nose to rump, 10" tail. About 12" to her shoulders. We were told she is about 1 year old. A companion/Lap dog but not a purse puppy! Loves to cuddle and be where ever we are. Runs fast like a Jack Russell Terrier, Part French Bull Dog (Stocky and coloring) but with an elongated nose. Part Dachshund, Chihuahua, Jack Russell? We don't know for sure. She rarely barks and is not in the least bit aggressive. Loves Tug o War and her chew toys.

Quiet is good!

Working with her. Put her outside and made her only option to get inside to use the door. She has come in several times but have not seen her go out without any incentive.

You are dealing with a very smart pooch as well. She will definitely go inside, but when it comes to going outside she is like yeah right. It is HOT out there.

Plus my chair/bed is inside where it is nice and cool with plenty of food and water.

She will get the jist of it soon enough I am sure. She is still a pup yet so she has much learning to do.
