Emergency Pc Help!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everybody... question.... first the scenario...

On Friday, noticed an electrical burn smell in the main prod room.... smelled around, couldn't locate anything in particular and nothin was hot to the touch.

Fast Forward to 15 minutes ago...

The electrical burn smell intensified throughout the day today and then I look over and PC # 2 is off and won't come back on. The power button has it appearing to be in standby mode...

No doubt somethings went bad but what? Any suggestions on where to start. There is a lot of very specific hardware installed on the machine that is going to be a real witch to change out.

Any input is appreciated.

power supply unit ? this happened to me last year your data will be ok this is just like a fuse to protect your pc .....good luck

Most likely it's the power supply in the tower. I had to change one out a few years ago. Not too big of a deal if that's the problem.

thanks gal and guy. I was thinking that to be the problem but I hadn't experienced it myself first hand. I figured you folks would be much smarter than I. thank you for allowing me to pick your brain.
