Big Mac vs Whopper

Its got to be a whopper, I just cant taste the meat in a big mac, to much crap in it, the dressing just drowns everything out. Burger king disapeared here for about 6 years, and only came back in the last 2, not many of them around. Domino pizza is also making a come back here, after Id say 8 years of the market.Comment

Ok. I've seen a couple now who need to have the Whopper cut in half. Why? Is it too big for some to handle. Just wondering.
I'll be the first to admit the size of the patties in a Big Mac is not what it use to be. I do end up tasting more bread than meat now.sigpic WANTED: Boxed, Carded and Kresge Carded WGSHComment

I would cut a whopper in half so I can shove more of it in my mouth at once.

Truly hard pick between the two. I think if the Big Mac made its patties back to the old size, that would be my pick. As they stand today; I would take a Whopper over a Big Mac. Honestly, now that I think about it; it has been so long since I have had either that both would taste like heaven to me. The only fast food item I have had in the past year or so was the Angus Burger and it was fantastic. I generally stay away because I have been at a healthy weight for a couple of years now and feel great. I know I could live a little every once in a while but I haven't had any big craving for it so better just to stay away."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

I like them both, but it all depends on my mood. The Big Mac has the edge, but they aren't as good as they were like 30 years ago. My absolute favorite burger of all time is from a place in the little town I grew up in. They call it the Big Mike after the former owner, and it has four patties, two kinds of cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, bacon, and a slab of Burger's country ham. They have to hold it together with a plastic knife sticking through it.
