Well, the NFL is going to "PC" this announcement with the idea that Vick may have a second chance, but the Falcons have already said their moving on without him and there will be few takers once this guy comes out of prison in two years. It will take at least another year for him to get in shape, but will he have the resources to do this? And will there be a team that is willing to take the public scrutiny for letting him play again? I say his chances are slim and without question, his best years are well behind him. He was already on
the decline so this, in my mind, just seals the deal. He made some really bad choices and he has to pay.

By evaluating the animals then they can justify destroying them. Actually the SPCA always tried to save the animals if possible
Felony convictions are covered in the NFL rules. Again, bubye!!

What's worse was the people supporting him on MNF.

Had a guy at work defending him, too. He didn't see what was so wrong with what he did.

With time off for good behavior, he could be released between May and June of 2009, and if he follows a strict prison workout regimen, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him wearing an NFL uniform that summer. Of course he would be considered a backup, but with teams like Oakland, Dallas and Miami out there, anything is possible.
