    indianapolis Airport help.

I am picking up my wife at the Indy airport tomorrow evening.
I am curious - will I be allowed to go through the TSA security and wait at her arriving gate, or do I have to stay somewhere by baggage claim?

Indy airport does have visitor parking, but it is worded in such a way, that it sounds like I need to stay "with" the car, and my wife can call me after she's picked up her bags. if they let me go to her arriving gate to greet her, sounds like I prolly ought to just pay to park, and ride a shuttle.

I don't do this sort of thing...kinda lost on procedures

Any suggestions/advise before I take off tomorrow afternoon would be great folks.

    Thanks in advanced.

you're not allowed thru security without a ticket/boarding pass, so you'll have to wait somewhere else (outside security). Some airports (not sure about Indy) have a cell phone lot where you park and wait for your party to call you once they land. at that point you can pick them up. hope that helps.
    Fresh, not from concentrate.

      thanks B.
Kinda sad I cant greet her as she comes out of that hallway, but I get it.
From what I am gathering, yes, I have to wait at baggage claim/non-secured location.
They do have a cell lot, but it looks like one of those pull-in, wait two minutes, get yelled at to circle around. Plus, I wouldn't want to sit in the hot car too long or let it idle.
The maps of the joint look pretty straight forward.
I'll prolly just pay to park and ride a shuttle up to the front door.
baggage is either right there, or directly downstairs.

No entrance without a ticket. The cell phone lots have become pretty much commonplace to fix the situation since 9/11. The one in the Tampa airport is the best one I've seen. It actually has a huge incoming flight digital board that keeps you updated on the status. It's like the size of a drive-in screen. They shouldn't move you from there at all. You should be able to sit there as long as it takes.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.
