BTW...if you missed the game...are a fan of soccer...or are just curious...watch this entire video (with the cool Rocky theme, lol)...it was one of the greatest games I've ever seen...and not just because Mexico won...Germany played a great game too (takes two to tango)...but because it was played with both skill and passion...it was like a heavyweight fight, back and forth...lol.

The last two Mexican goals were something else...the first from a corner kick...where the ball just bends into the upper right-hand corner and goes into the net...while the Mexican striker and the German defender collided heads (the Mexican player suffered a bad gash, and had to have his head bandaged).

The last goal was from that same injured player (wearing his head bandage)...do a spectacular scissor kick to give Mexico the 3-2 lead...while the entire stadium erupts in unison...

These teenagers are awesome...kudos to both Mexico and Germany for an awesome game...

The third place game was one firecracker of a game...

...Germany stormed back from a 3-1 deficit...to down the Brazilians 4-3...what a great comeback...


Man...it has not been Brazil's day...first, the women's team is eliminated by the USA...and now the under-17 World Cup team loses the third place game...and finishes up in fourth place.


In 15 minutes from now...4pm PST...the FINAL (on the Galavision network)...Mexico vs Uruguay...
