        Congrats Tim Tebow!

He definitely deserved it - a great ambassador for the Heisman Trophy!

Tebow wins. I thought being a soph. would hurt him but it didn't. A well deserved win. I'd say he's got a better than average chance to become only the 2nd player to win 2 of them.

While I'm a huge Gator and Tebow fan, I really felt bad for McFadden. He was right there. Oh well he's heading for the NFL and a monster paycheck.

Yeah, I felt bad for him too. ESPN predicted last year that McFadden would not win the Heisman because he was a sophomore - he deserved it they said - but he wouldn't win it because he was an underclassman. I remember it distinctly because I thought he should have won it (being a Razorback fan) but knew he wouldn't because he was a sophomore and they never give it to sophomores.

The irony: He is now an upperclassman, and he loses to the an underclassman - the first time in 73 years. Tebow deserved it, don't get me wrong. A case could be made for either one. I just hate it that it had to happen the year my guy has a real shot to win.

There was a 3 game stretch in which he played with bruised ribs (most people outside Arkansas did not know this) - Auburn, Ole Miss, and Florida International - and put up average/below average numbers. When he finally got healthy, he blew the Old Ball Coach and S.C. for 321 yards.

If he had been healthy all year, Tebow would have had to wait a year to get the trophy.

Oh well. Would of, could of, should of.
