Paper Anniversary

So, my husband and I have been together for 7 years... but it was only last year that we got our lazy butts up one morning and got married all legal like.

So this year we celebrated our one year OFFICIAL anniversary.

Being as it was the paper anniversary, we limited ourselves to that genre.

I got him a poster (a reproduction of Barnabas Collin's oil painting).

He got me this:



Somehow I feel like I got the better end of the deal.

I'll see if I can take a pic without getting glare off the glass... but ya, it's a replica of the oil painting that hung at the house. He's been after one for years, and there's a guy on ebay that sells nice replicas.

The comics are all low grade, but none are brittle and they are complete... so I cants complain!

My camera stinks and I give up trying to get a decent photo of the piece. Instead I will cheat and steal the pic from the ebay auction, with apologies to the ebay seller.

My 5th anniversary is tomorrow. I gave her wood!!!

I got four pictures professionally framed and she got my jersey framed.

Happy Anniversary! My husband and I will probably end up getting each other comics for our one-year, in about 5 months. So for the paper anniversary, does it count if there's a Mego attached(as in, to the front of the card)? Cardboard is a kind of paper, isn't it? If not, when's the cardboard anniversary?

I spent $400 on four pictures to get professionally framed.....

But I forgot to get a $3 card!!!!

I wake this morning to my card sitting on the table, and realize, DOH!!!, I forgot to get a card!!!
