    Long Island Toy Show July 17th 2011 Plainview NY

    Long Island Toy Show

    Welcome to the Long Island toy show. This convention will feature local dealers who specialize in toys and collectibles from the 1960's to now. All the toys you grew up with will be there to buy, sell or trade. Old favorites like Transformers, Thundercats, Mego, Masters of the Universe, G.I. Joe, Star Wars, LEGO, Video Games, Comic Books, Yugioh, Magic the Gathering and more.

    Date: Sunday July 17th 2011 from 10:00AM-4:00PM

    Early Admission 9:00AM-10:00AM

    Location: Holiday Inn Hotel 215 Sunnyside Boulevard, Plainview, NY 11803

    Adult Admission $8.00 at the door. $5.00 in advance.

    Child Admission FREE for kids 12 and under.

    Every advance admission ticket will be entered into a random door prize drawing. The winners will be picked the night before the show and receive their prize when they pick up their ticket the day of the show. These prizes will be separate from the raffles that will also occur all day. All winners will still receive their raffle tickets. Door prizes will be items such as Star Wars Figures, Simpson's Figures, Comics and other collectible toys.

    Early Admission $15.00 at the door. $10.00 in advance.

    Special Guests:

    The 501st Legion's Empire City Garrison And The Rebel Legion's Echo Base will be at the Long Island Toy Show in costume to take pictures with guests, and answer any questions about their group and how to join.

    Author Mark Bellomo: Writer of action figure and toy book publications such as The Ultimate Guide to G.I. Joe and Transformers Identification and Price Guide. Mark is responsible for over 200 articles on pop culture in various print as well as introductions to trade paperbacks. Mark also creates toy packages for toy companies.

    Author Russ Colchamiro: Writer of Finders Keepers, Crossline, and other goofytales.

    Over 50 tables of dealers!!!

    Can't wait. Been a while since a toy show out here on Long Island. I wish you good luck and hopefully it is successful enough so you guys can do it monthly or bi-monthly.

      I posted about this. I'm still thinking of getting a table, but I am not sure if I have enough stuff.

      The last time I was at a toy show was in my pre-teens, lol. At St. Vincent de Paul in Elmont.
