    Building 3 ford motors.

Pics to come soon, but I'm going to end up with 2 351c and a 351w in the end. One is a back-up motor for my Stang, but I know there are some classic ford owners on here and let me know if you need one. These will be about 470 HP motors machined and built with best parts available. No carb.
    Thanks,
    Jamie

Keep us posted. My Torino has a 351C and my 67 Fairlane has a 289. I love Ford muscle!

nice my 76 torino's original 351w is a tired engine but my 77 Tbird's 351w runs like a top - shows the difference that maintenance can have on a car

I know the Maverick came with a factory 302 in some them, so it might with some new motor mounts and a new rear end. I'm sure someone has already done it. I've seen a VW bug with an 8 cylinder adaption. It's a total waste of time performance wise but was cool to see done. A 302 will really make a Maverick move I can't imagine how it will do in a Pinto.

"fit" is a relative term if you mean can you put a 351W into a pinto, most likely yes, but will it be simple and allow you to close the hood without a modification I doubt it.
The Maverick was larger than the pinto and had a straight 6 as it's smaller engine The pinto is an inline 4 cyl so it might fit but it will also stick out the engine bay. of course that might just make a way cooler pinto with a huge air scoop on it or exhaust out the top like a 50's hot rod

                      Hey thanks,

I'm in Central FL. I just thought I would throw it out cause I know we have some old Ford guys. But I will post pics if your interested of the progression and to see how it's not that hard. And remember there are no dumb questions.
