    Fathers Day Thread

No disrespect to the mothers on this site but why is Father's day feel like a lame half attempt to compete with Mother's day?

I do my fair share of the work including cooking, cleaning, child rearing without complaint but Mothers day seems like a holiday in which our wives expect to be treated like Queen for the Day but on Fathers day it is a treat just to be able to sit down for an hour and zone.

    What is wrong with this?

At our house I cook and fix the entire mothers" day meal for all the family, between 12 and 15 people. My wife does the same for father's day so I can't complain,we are treated the same(except I am the better cook).

The first one is always good. All I want to do is just sit my arse in a hammock and do nothing for a day.
