Help mego people ..Iv had a sore head ...

For 2 weeks its more sore in the morning and any stress makes it worse , its an odd headache its sore from the back right over my head and ends at the front of my head its a deep sore head as well , like iv been on a bus or in a car for hours slightly sickly feeling , if i lie down it will go away :( i am not prone to sore heads really i do and have had migraine headaches from time to time , only once every year or two years this headache is kinda like that :( i dont look ill or feel ill two weeks ago i felt a bit shaky and felt cold all over and was sleeping more that's all away now

one more thing i am stressed over a health issue i have ( one iv told no one about) could it be this stressing me out and giving me a sore head ? i told my own doctor about this worry she looked it over and was not that bothered but i still get symptoms ......

    any help or ideas?

could be stress... I've been sick the last 2 days with a fever and headaches as well...if I get up I get dizzy in seconds and need to lay down...if I even scratch my head it hurts(soreness and pain) I too have had migraines since I was a kid..

this is the 3rd day and i still have it, I can't even eat..I'm just drinking gatorade to keep hydrated but I honestly feel like crap(I feel like I'm dying) I think I might need to go to the Doctor today..

anyways I hope you feel better, try taking Advil or Tylenol ...i know it helps me a bit

let me ask you this....has your diet changed at all during or just prior to the onset of these headaches? stress can do it but so can certain foods. Red Wine is another one that can cause headaches. my wife and my sister get migrains from Red Wine

Go see a doctor about your headaches.

About the other issue - if you feel you have symptoms that your doctor isn't addressing then mention that when you go. Talk to your doctor!

If the doctor is still not interested in looking at the issue closer or running other tests then go see another doctor - get a second opinion. Explain your concerns, and if they still don't seem worried then at least that should ease your mind a little.

With all due respect to the people on here, we're not doctors, and if there is a doctor on here they're not able to examine you - Go!

According to what I just looked up online Scotland has a public health care system. You have no excuse.

            Could be a sinus infection

You need to get it properly diagnosed and get some antibiotics in you (if that's what it is)

Definatly get back to the doctors and if you still get not much responce consult another doctor.

              Better safe than sorry.

Have you checked to see if there is are small blisters starting to form or redness in the area? You mentioned that you can pinpoint where it hurts (I presume not all over).

You might be experiencing the first signs of shingles. It is frequently misdiagnosed by doctors especially in the area that you mentioned. If you touch the area and feel the pain (on the surface) go back to the doctor and have them check for shingles. There is an anti-viral medication that can keep it from full break out but it has to be caught early. That's the only thing I can think of other than what others have said.

                  could be allergies,
If its been rainy with a over abundant plant and flower growth,
as we get older mild reactions could increase.
try a decongestion that deals with sinus headache
it sounds like you have an allergy

My wife and her mother both have these same type symptoms when their sinus get goofed up. Good suggestion Mikey.

Still, check with a Doc. If it is sinuses the antibiotis will clear it up quick.

I agree with going to a different doctor if your current one is basically blowing you off. Don't assume that all doctors are smart or know what they are doing. There are plenty of doctors who finished at the bottom of their class and just squeaked by medical school.

Yep, I agree with the notion of seeing another doctor, and don't be afraid to stress to them that you're really concerned about it. Your symptoms could mean any number of different things, so it's too hard to just guess. Good luck and I hope you get some real answers soon!
