I don't really know you, but, I can imagine the pain you and your family must be going through. May God grant you the strength to heal. Always remeber, As long as you remeber him, he is not truely gone, he lives in you and your family and all he tought you lives on in you and yours.

I lost my Dad to cancer a few years back. It takes a lot of time to deal with losing a parent...

thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. we buried my father yesterday on what would have been my folks 47th anniversary. It was a beautiful sunny day and the service was very touching. the priests all knew my father personally, one is even a cousin so they all put a personal touch in their eulogy. it is a hard time to lose someone, especially before their time. I feel a tremendous void in my life now but at least his suffering is over and he is at peace. I miss and love you dad.
