I'll be one to congratulate Boston. My team wasn't even in the playoffs but I did watch a lot of Stanley Cup action and Boston looked really strong (especially at home.) CHEERS!!!
I was thrilled to see my team win the cup! After years of cheering for Rick Middleton, Ray Bourque, etc....they finally did it.
That said, my excitement ended when I heard how those idiots in Vancouver behaved afterwards. I was ashamed to be a Canadian hockey fan and thought "I hope no one thinks ALL Canadian hockey fans are so disrespectful."
The cup became an afterthought to the foolishness that went on with the riot.

As a Flyers fan who was bitter about the loss to Boston, and a Blue Jackets fan rooting for Manny & Raffi, I was solidly in Vancouver's camp when this series started. I even still liked after the bite. But I'll tell you, I eventually got tired of watching the Sedins & Burrows diving, not to mention Luongo's ups & downs. By last night, I had converted to a Boston fan, and I was happy they won.
Thomas was incredible. Marchand was scary-good for a rookie. Chara was a beast, and he seemed to play the game the right way. I liked his save last night. Anyway, congrats to Boston, and thanks for an entertaining series.
