do schools carry yearbooks?

I've been thinking about a few friends of mine that i never saw after i transferred a few schools, and i was wondering if Middle schools carry them in their library? anyone know? I have my HS one so i'[m good there. but I went to 3 different middle schools

I know our local library has a yearbook for each year going back to the 40's, might have some luck there.Might want to think about a used book store too.Good luck with your search.

just for kicks I just went to ebay and typed in "high school year book" for where I went and got 83 results found , might try there too.

Yeah try calling the town's library. They usually have the school year books.

No, in the old days they would take one 10 x 8 photo of the whole class and parents would buy one.

These days they do photos of all the pupils every year but not for a book, they are just for the parents to purchase of their child. I don't think you can buy the photo of someone else's child.

wow i never knew that, we use to do the class picture in elementary

My elementary school was very small and in the sticks (k-8)

Back in the 70's we had homemade yearbooks

The 8th graders would take the pictures and print the books using school printers.

Best thing, they were free to the whole school

The pictures we all B&W and the books were more like pamphlets but they were good enough ... I still have a few and they survived pretty good for almost 40 years.
