    Very limited time-travel question

If you could go back in time to any store you want and grab 1 shopping cart full of stuff in less than 1 hour --- then you're slingshotted back to the future .......

What store would you pick ?

    What year ?

Mine would be Rockaway Sales (local dept store)

    1976

In those days. It would have to be the defunct Childrens Palace. As a kid I never got to get inside but imagine it was packed with Mego goodness. I know there was one in Monroeville PA. But I could find out its location.
PS with my luck. I'd slingshot back but the toys would remain in thier timeline.
Check out my picture library of Mego-ish compatible vehicles with ID data.

I never got to go to Toys R Us in the 70s. I would dream what it would be like though. So I think for me, Toys R Us, '73 or '74.

Yeah, I think along those lines, too. I'll say the Petit or Durand-Ruel gallery in Paris around 1885, to load up the impressionist paintings.
