Super Bad DVD

I never saw the movie in the theater but I know it received good reviews.

Is this worth purchasing or just a good rental? I would probably be the only one watching it since it isn't appropriate for my kids and not the kind of movie genre my wife enjoys.

It's above average, but average is pretty average these days. How often do you re-watch "above average?" Rent it or wait a few months for it to drop to $9.99 is my suggestion. Save the dough for something for the whole family - good deals on the RankinBass classics right now for example:-)

If you buy comedies, the I think its a good choice.

My Brother said it was good. From the director of the 40Yr old V, & Knocked up. Some of the same group of cast. While I laughed threw the whole Movie of The 40yr old,.. I didn't get the same sorta laugh threw Knocked up. We shall see about Superbad.

Haven't seen it but looking forward to it. Like Steve said I'll probably pick it up once the price drops.

I laughed out loud several times, but parts of it were just plain boring, and I'm not certain I would enjoy sitting through it a second or third time. My advice is to rent it, then wait a while and see if you miss it. If you do, that's your hint that you should buy it!

Ok, I just saw this, & I did Laugh My A off.
But I do not think it was as funny as Jay&Bob Strikes Back. For this type of comedy, thats the movie I compare them too. J&B strikes back, just set the bar too high imo. It is worth watching though, very entertaining.

my boss let me pick a movie for an office field trip a few months ago. Super Bad was my choice. It was hilarious. Plus the uncomfortable stares from my coworkers as I laughed was worth it.
