I have a replica Old West sixshooter, and when there's a Western on, I always have it in hand, ready to go down, guns blazing.
Often, as I'm going down some stairs, in my head I'm ready for some zombie or monster to be waiting for my at the bottom, waiting to attack. I can't help having an imaginary rifle in my hands, to blow them away.
My wife's the same, in our bathroom we have tons of rubber ducks which all go in the bath, and the bedroom is a teddy bear sanctuary.
We have no kids, but I guess we have them already, inside us....
