My daughter took her first steps

My daughter took her first steps by herself today one day before her first birthday
first she walked to my wife and when I came home she walked to me....only a few steps of coarse but I'm sure when she goes to the meet next week she will be walking a lot more

YAY! First steps are so mesmerizing. To watch these little ones "figure it out" what we take for granted is truly special. May I suggest though that you go ahead and invest in a lot of Mylanta. Reason being is as the teetering and toddleing continues your stomach will get torn up as you watch the baby almost wipe out a billion times, thus causing the worry induced mini ulcer.

Congrats. Kyrian is 7.5 months old now, so I'm looking forward to those first steps too

Congrats, it's a great feeling when that finally happens. But now the real fun begins, sometimes you'll almost miss the times when they couldn't move much and get into trouble.

Here is the video of my youngest daughter's first steps. We were so excited, we forgot to catch her (she is 5 now)

The joy in seeing a child walk for the first time fills the heart with warmth. About one year later after seeing all the stuff that same child can get into as a result of their walking brings your blood to a boil.

I have six kids and have enjoyed every one of them to the fullest. However, there are days where I wonder if putting them on a runner is a bad idea. lol
