    Our local IKEA got bombed!

    Well, not really.
Somebody left two clocks, some wires and a small amount of gunpowder, which (put together) resulted in basically a very large firecracker.

You know what my first thought was?
    A bomb at IKEA?
Did the customers have to assemble it themselves, and if so, did they have a couple of parts left that they didn't know what to do with, but were missing a very important part that wasn't included?

Apparentely, ours wasn't the only Ikea where they found bombs

I don't know, I'd be kinda worried it might be a trial run for something. Maybe I'm just paranoid.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Did the bomber leave a code for where the bomb was hidden - and then not leave it where he said it was?

I'm guessing nobody was able to read the instructions to put it together and just said screw it and left.

LMAO ... I can just see some epic battle with pressboard and wicker weapons.

They found three bombs in three European countries. All rather crude "make a lot of noise" things.

I say it's a disgruntled buyer. He promised his wife he'd get the IKEA cradle assembled before she gave birth. The kid is now 5 months old. And Dad is still sitting in a pile of wood and screws, scrutinizing the manual made up by a blind 74 year old Chinese guy.

                        I think it's just a prankster. Let's hope I'm right...
