    Batman marathon on The Hub

Did anyone know about this? I just stumbled onto it myself. I don't know how long it's been on, but it's going until 3am.

I'm watching Robot Wars now. It's gotten really aggressive from when it first started years ago. I just love it, so no Batman for me. :P

I'm watching now. 1st time in years that I've just sat and watched the show. Still enjoyable but truly from a different point of view from that if a 7 year old.

Currently watching as well. I recorded the two part Catwoman episode earlier because it's my favorite and I have the corresponding View Master reels in the other room. Same reels I got as a kid. I still look at them. Now I can watch the episodes too! It's Bat-tastic!

That's one of my faves too, and I have the same View Master reels!

I tried to get into them but I just can't.

As a kid I loved them, but as an adult they seem kinda boring

ABSOLUTELY.. West himself said that the role of Aunt Harriet was key to the balance of the show, and he was absolutely right.

Weak writing, using soundstage backdrops and doing only 30min stories also diminished most of the charm and quality of the show. The Gorshin and Newmar eps were the best.

My wife and I locked into the marathon last night and stayed up watching it together for hours. Good fun!

Too bad they are refusing to show a few of the episodes due to political correctness, the first Egghead episode and one of the Shame episodes.

Yes, I would understand the 'native american' stereotyping would be a tad offensive.

It's silly, but those were the times.

Luckily no one smoked on the show (other than Penquin..), else they'd be slapping the 'brief scenes of smoking' warning at the beginning, like they're doing to movies and DVDs now.

                        Ridiculous.

Is that why they never play F-Troop anymore ?

^^^ That's a pretty good bet, but its not like any nationality was portrayed in a positive light on that show.
