This reminds me of a t-shirt I saw once. It went something like this:
Remember that being a man is better then being an egg, because an egg:
1 - You only get laid once
2 - You only get eaten once
3 - It takes 5 minutes to get hard
4 - It takes 2 minutes to get soft
5 - You share a room with 11 other guys
6 - The only chick to sit on your face was your mother

But saying that, Ive been here 14 years, and I simply dont use my english frequently, its quite worrying. I dont speak english at home, only write on forums like this, and have one english friend here, but I still think in english.
Sometimes, this forum is the best way to practice my English, and at times it's the worst. I once tried to negotiate a deal with a member and for the life of me, I just couldn't understand his PMs. Every time he PMd me, it seemed as if he had just come from the dentist after a particularly heavy sedation...

I also think in English...JK..that is really good that your brain thinks in a language that isn't your first language. I am semi-fluent in French, Portuguese, and Spanish, and German but my brain always translates the language to English and back to whatever language. I guess that is a good reason why no one understands me when I visit Europe. I was once told in Germany that I speak great English in Munich true story. I couldn't believe that someone from USA thought I was German.
