Got any Random comic, mego, sci-fi or related trivia?

I recently learned that Darth Vader is actually Dutch for "Dark Father".

Rather clever considering the lack luster names like Maul, Sideous, and Grievous.

Got any comic, mego, sci fi or related trivia we may find interesting?

I found what i thought was some interesting trivia when i was doing some "research" for the Bossk custom i did.The suit he wears is an unaltered "High-Altitude Windak Pressure Suit" developed in 1962 to fufill British Royal Airforce requirements. The leg bands strapped around each leg are flare pistol cartridges similiar to those worn by the German Airforce during WW2.I found that info on Wookiepedia. On a different site i found this picture of the suit in some kind of test? Also found interesting that this suit was worn by another character in the Cantina scene and "Forerunners" to Bossk were present in the Cantina scene. These forerunners "The Saurins" weren't even given a species classification and proper names until 1995.On the set they were known as "Crockers" or "Gila-men".Thats all i got.

That's one of those popular SW misconceptions. "Darth" isn't Dutch for dark.
(Although Vader is Dutch for father.)

I like the Sith names. In Palpatine's case, the title Darth Sidious suits him and his elaborate insidious schemes perfectly.

Dr Clayton Forrester is one of "the Mads" on Mystery Science Theater 3000. The hero of the original "War of the Worlds" is ALSO named Dr Clayton Forrester. Coincidence?
