How much money do these people make to study such stupid ideas ?
I'm sure that English drinkers are more threatening to the world anyway,

University of Alberta researcher Denise Young, who led the study, suggests that provincial authorities hold beer-fridge buy-backs or round-ups to eliminate the threat.
Actually, in my neck of the woods at least (perhaps in all of Ontario?), they've done just that. The "authorities" recently offered to pick up and properly dispose of any old, working fridges that anyone may have still had in their basement or garage. We don't have a "beer fridge", but I'll admit that I know people that do ("one in three households" sounds a bit high though). It's not exactly an uncommon thing, but I'm sure it's not just Canadians that do this.

I recently just did this (I'm from Ontario too), but we had to wait a month and a half for them to find time to pick it up, and it's not as if I live in the middle of nowhere.

Beer is more important than the planet itself.
