Smallville should have gone on another 5 years.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I personally think it should've been canceled from the get go...

Mission: Impossible. The last two seasons stink.

Star trek TNG the last 2 seasons are phone in's ...as a matter of fact all the spinoffs ran too long too (DS9 and Voyager....Enterprise should never have been made) it's like once the next ST vehicle started they moved all the smart writers to the next show and let the older ones die on the vine

Stargate SG1 should have ended when Daniel died the first time, and certainly when Jack was promoted... the spinoffs were terrible

Happy days was on like 5 years too long. to quote Jump the shark when Ted Mcginley Joins the cast the show is done (see also married with children)

Law and Order - the show got better form early cast changes but when Jerry Orbach got sick they should have ended it I can't even watch it anymore

Dukes of Hazzard - can you say Coy and Vance

I agree, after Orbach it became unwatchable for me ....

Also Criminal Intent is very lousy lately, especially after they brought in Jeff Goldbloom.
