Not only is this list old, it's pretty crappy. Several of those shows were pretty good hits/shows.

I agree that some choices on the list are wrong. There are better choices that could have been listed. Still, if a show is a hit does it mean it's not ridiculous?

Gilligan's Island - the cast-a-ways can build just about everything they need except a boat or raft to get off the island. Per the E! True Hollywood Story this show almost never made it to broadcast.

I Dream of Jeannie - An astronaut's space capsule lands in the wrong place in the Pacific and discovers a Genie in a bottle who is very good looking, will obey his every command and he rejects all her romantic advances.

Alf - a cute muppett-like alien crashes to earth and already speaks english. His name spells Alien Life Form. C'mon!

Wow, the Master! They recut that as a movie, and believe it or not, made it worse. I saw it on MST3k, and it's one of my favorite episodes. I actually remember watching Beauty and the Beast - I don't recall it being all that bad. And believe it or not, somewhere at my mom's house is a VHS tape of the 100 Lives of Black Jack Savage, possibly the pilot. My brother and I kind of liked it.

I liked The Phoenix! And The Charmings had a nice spin on the fairy tale genre, similar to DC Comics' "Fables"....

And there's nothing lame about The Fall Guy

You are right. Did you watch the cartoon? I hated everything but the theme song.

Look no further than FOX! their debut shows were really really really out there. aside from married with children, Tracy ullman (and the simpsons) and 90210, their shows were..well....original!
Whoops!- the comedy about the last people on earth after a nuke?
The Outsiders- to hell with a sequel, lets do a series...
The adventures of Beans Baxter... campy kid is a spy his arch nemesis? Red Foreman
                            The NEW MONKEES (self explainatory)
Second Chance- starred Kiel Martin as Charles Russell, a deceased man, and Matthew Perry as his younger self, who is nicknamed Chazz. In the year 2011, Charles dies in a hovercraft accident, and his soul is promptly sent to the high spiritual palace of Saint Peter (Joseph Maher). It is there that Saint Peter determines that Charles is too good for hell but not good enough to get into heaven; therefore, Charles is sent back to Earth in the year 1987, to re-join his life during the teenage years in order to help himself, through the younger Chazz, make more moral choices. This was rebooted and became "Boys will be Boys" both shows were terrible
Herman's Head- I liked this show.....Research assistant Herman Brooks works in the fact-checking department of a major magazine publisher. In his personal life and interactions with his boss Paul Bracken and co-workers Louise, Heddy and Jay, his decisions and actions are dramatized with a "Greek chorus" style dramatization of his thought processes
There are sooooooo many more including the Get Smart reboot.
Nbc had "Sonny Spoon"- Sonny, a hip, black private investigator who used his street smarts and "cool" persona to solve crimes. He often assisted, and was assisted by, Carolyn Gilder (Terry Donahoe), an attractive assistant district attorney. Additionally, Sonny was a master of disguises, and might spend part of any given episode dressed as a clergyman, an Arab tourist, or an old lady. He used his many connections on the streets and relationships with friends and informants (who were apparently attracted to him mostly by his vibrant personality, as he had little cash to share with them) to further his ends, and also the insights of his father, Mel, a bar owner (played by Melvin Van Peebles, Mario's real-life father).
