Not sure from that single article he planned to do anything more than "stick it to the Man" in a nerdy internet way, really. He was obviously asking for trouble, though, and if his goal was to sacrifice a cushy life to make a statement, he did an excellent job. It seems more like something I'd expect out of Anonymous, however, and not someone approaching 40
