On a personal level...I do love my iPhone...but I'm very respectful towards others...if I'm in a movie theater for example...I TURN OFF MY BLOODY PHONE...because I don't only want to avoid irritating people...but I myself don't want to be bothered either...I want to enjoy my movie in peace.

I also do NOT text...I hate texting...it's so pointless to me.

I love to surf the net though...and sometimes I post here from my iPhone...lol.

I also love my GPS...and I also dig the camera/video feature.

Instant weather and traffic reports checks are cool too.

Oh...and it has long replaced my wrist watch as well...

I like having a cell phone and don't leave the house without it. I rarely use it but I feel safer knowing I have it with me in case of an emergency.

...and that right there...is reason alone to own one.

There is the responsible way of doing things as you indicated above.

Then there is the irresponsible way of doing things like the moron that you indicated in a previous post while watching Sandy's movie. That is the kind of stuff that really upsets me about idiots and their phones.
