Around 5th grade I started getting more into skateboarding and and girls started gettingm y attention. I still found the toy section of our local department store alluring, but I started feeling a little too old for toys. By 6th grade, I started selling off my Megos- $10 a piece complete with boxes!!!

Probably 13 when I stopped "playing" with them. Still collected and have always visited the toy aisle.

While I don't "play" with action-figures...I do play with R/C cars.

I really can't recall the age I stopped actually playing with toys though...I guess when the video game craze in the 80s started.

Probably around 13, when girls entered the picture. Hanging out with friends then became about sports or watching movies, not playing with Megos, Micronauts or Star Wars. I have always held an appreciation for well made action figures though.

I have always found myself drawn to the toy section. Guess I never stopped either.

As far as playing with them, like acting like they're running in imaginary stories or fighting or whatever, probably 11.

The definition of "playing" might change and what you "play with" but you never stop playing with toy.

The last time I checked I was not dead yet. Although Hector has probably put out a hit on me by now though after reading the Ford thread.

Until then I will have to have the answer to your question engraved on my tombstone I suppose. "Died on XX/XX/XXXX playing with toys".

Seriously though as far as actually "playing" with toys I play around with them and not really play with them like I did now compared to when I was a kid. I do not even remember when I actually stopped totally playing with toys.

I have always been a big kid at heart. I love my toys! They just got a lot bigger and better. Kind of like a fine wine. Better and more appreciated with age.

Too much space. Need more toys!

I think I was 13 yos when I stopped. As a adult I didn't really start collecting until 2002. I did pick up a few of the first new Star Wars figures in the 90's but they were not played with.
