When I first got into Star Trek in late 1975, I wanted anything Star Trek.
So, in a mall bookstore in 1975' I saw both the Trek blueprints and tech manual.
I wanted both but mom only said I could get one and then she recommended the Technical Manual because it has more in it than the blueprints.
Now, being young I wasn't really sure what blueprints were at the time so I went ahead with the Technical manual.
As I slowly learned through that blue prints meant it was the plans for the Enterprise, boy I sure wanted to get those if I ever saw them again. I didn't until the conventions and they were asking $50 or so for them.
On and off again on Ebay, I'd keep an eye out for the blueprints which would
often sell for less than that $50 collector's price (but never when I would watch an auction).
Recently, I started to watch an auction for both the TV blueprints I missed getting those years ago and the the Motion Picture blueprints. Opening bid for both was $20 with free shipping.
Well, I missed bidding and the auction ended with no bidders. I emailed the
seller and told him I intended to bid but it got by me and if he put it back up as a but it now for $20 I'd snap it up.
I didn't know what to expect. He might say he'd put it up as a buy it now for a bigger price or put it up without a buy it now. But he just wrote back and said he put it back up.
****STAR TREK BLUEPRINTS***** complete set of 12 and 14 | eBay
He put it back up for $2 more SOLD!!!
It just came in today, I will be leaving feedback soon but man it only took 37 years to finally get those blueprints. And I got those extra TMP blueprints to boot
