The perfect day

Threw the wife in the Challenger and drove up Pacific Coast Highway 'till we hit one of our favorite beach cafes: Malibu Seafood. The weather was beautiful and we even got to see a pod of dolphins frolicking while we were enjoying our meal.

Scored a minty Mr. F from a board member:

Now, if only my Lakers can hang on to their lead, it will be the perfect day.

Very cool...I was in CA on a business trip a few years ago (near Malibu) and someone recommended Duke's. It was a strange drive along the shore with high cliffs but really enjoyed the place

Thanks. We had large sea scallops, fried clams, steamed shrimp and (Manhattan & New England) clam chowder. Malibu Seafood is more of a shack compared to the other restaurants along PCH, but we like their food the best.

Duke's is nice. They used to be the old Malibu Sea Lion.
