    3d theater: Zombie! by C'monster

As some of you may know from time to time I will throw up custom made 3d pictures of stuff I manipulated or true 3d customs- so whip out the red and blue glasses.

Tonight we have a true 3d picture using a Mego custom from the Lucio Fulci film Zombie that was created by Sandy and my lawn for background

    red lens left eye
VERY IMPORTANT!!! I MADE THE PARALLAX A LITTLE TOO DEEP, SO
STAND AT LEAST 6-7 FEET AWAY FROM YOUR MONITOR AND AT A SLIGHT DIAGONAL FROM THE SCREEN FOR BEST 3D VIEWING OPTION (seems to be more in focus that way and shows the actual depth rather than facing it head on)

Can you do a version with the pictures side by side so you can cross your eyes to get the 3D effect?

      re

Yes I could. I also have one of those old antique 3d viewers, but no printing ink to actual create an image for that

at any rate it might not be exactly the same or have as much depth due to some manipulation and cropping I did with the anaglyph version, but we'll see. I can throw it up here with a download link (since embedding that size of an image would be way too wide for the screens forum)

      give me a few minutes

Ok here you go, a side by side version. It is not exactly the same as the one above (and far from my best work) and in some degrees works better and easier on the eyes. I am basing it because the program I used to do this lets you switch between various 3d methods. So I can assume how I see it as an anaglyph is how it should look when viewing it as a side by side

          That's pretty neat, Doug.

Thanks guys. I realized afterwards that I was too close to the subject to really get a good 3d effect. What I should have done is have a few more objects in the front, those "sticks" by the middle and the zombie a bit further back but in the same spot. This would have created some minor pop and really good depth. Perhaps I will do that on Saturday. If you ever saw some of my other pics I have thrown up on these forums (Sandy, that incs taking your 2d Enik pic you made and I applied a 3d pop to the arm/hand, looks awesome) usually I am pretty good at it, though sometimes it just does not come out how you would like it to
