'First they came for people who collect full-size movie props, and I did nothing'
Transforming Megatron has proved too dangerous for local authorities too.

      the article itself is confusing
if these items are the actual film props then the cops may be right. The film prop guns were built on a thompson m41, a shotgun, and a flamethrower

if these are resin or plastic copies then it's a total crock and a prime example of what happens in places where gun ownership is highly restricted

This is in Queensland, Austrailia, so this is all they way around the other side of the world. They mention these are props, models and replica's in the article. After the Police inspect them and find they are just big hunks of plastic and resin, they they don't actually do anything, I think they'll release them to the buyer. The prop rifles from Aliens were designed to be realistic looking so I can see the authorities confusion. It's a testament to the prop designers of the film that they look so good.
