Had to put my dog to sleep.

Last Tuesday at 5 AM I got up to get ready to leave on Spring Break. My dog was lying in a pool of urine and her eyes were rolled back in her head. She would not move. Easter Weekend 2010 she quit eating and wouldn't move. Took her to the vet and the x-ray showed her Liver and Stomach were all twistrd and out of shape.

She was diagnosed with Liver cancer.

I took her to the Emergency Vet and they said she had a stroke and there was nothing more we could do.

She was found living in a storm drain with her mother and 2 siblings 12 years ago. She was well loved and will be missed.

Not the best way to start spring break for my 6 and 9 year old girls but we still managed to have a great time. It was hard coming home and not being greeted at the door.
Too many toys. Not enough space!

My condolences, and big hugs for your two girls. I am guessing that a puppy is not too far off in their future though.

I am so sorry. Pets become such an important part of our families and their deaths can hurt just as much as losing a human member. Your dog had twelve wonderful years being part of a loving family and was allowed a humane end to her life.

Sad news. My own pooch was seriously ill this weekend, and I've lost two dogs in the past. I know how you must feel...

I dread the day I will be faced with that situation.
My cat greets me like a dog everytime I come home from work.
She bounces down the stairs talking all the way,as if asking me why it took so long to get home.
My sympathies go out to You and Yours.

Aw, I was really close to my dog growing up (a mixed Andalusian hound left in a basket on our doorstep, which was the smartest-dog-ever I'll have you know) - so much so that I've never had another. Sorry. :(

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
