Anybody else watch the Kennedy's ?

Been watching the Kennedy's these last few days and I kind of like it.

The guy who plays Jack is really good as JFK (even looks a little like him).

They seem a little too friendly with LBJ

I think I seen the guy who plays Bobby on the Green Mile.

    Anybody else watch it ?

Barry Pepper....a really good actor...but sometimes made fun of...because he was the lead human character againt John Travolta's alien persona in one of my all time favorite comedies...Battlefield Earth...

I'll watch The Kennedys...it's on Comcast OnDemand...kinda of a shame this miniseries went into almost absolute obscurity after the History Channel refused to show it at the last second...the ReelzChannel is now showing it.

        Why is that ?

Was it because they thought it had incorrect facts ?

They shot most of that here. My wife worked craft service on that production!

I believe that's exactly why. They got a lot of criticism for their script and History Channel pulled it.

That the channel that plays "Aliens in the Bible" now cares about facts is incredible to me. Maybe it was more about potential lawsuits though.

I watched just about all the episodes and I don't remember seeing Ted.

Wonder if he was left out for a specific reason ?

Well I watched it and enjoyed it. But I was more than a little disturbed at how some of the key details were either glossed over, ignored, or just flat-out fabricated (and therefore made historically inaccurate). That was particularly true of the depiction of the Cuban Missile Crisis, and JFK's assassination in Dallas on Nov 22nd, 1963... just to name two things.
