Iv Just Got A Virus From This Site!!!! Major

Its in the toy room my megos and other bits , i clicked the pictures to get a better look and it downloaded a very bad virus on my lap top ( i am using my pc now) its loaded its self on to my task bar pretending to be a scanner but its a very evil virus saying all sorts what will I do its not letting me open any my virus scanners and just keeps popping up and making a weird sound its saying about illegal porn and stuff iv switched it off :( i am really worried guys what can I DO PLEASE HELP

I don't think it's from this site. More than likely from one of the sites where some members are storing their photos. Maybe about a month or so ago I reported a problem I had clicking on a pic of someones toy collection and a porn banner popped up instead. PLEASE use safer more reliable sites to store your pics guys.

Here's how I got rid of it.

Open your laptop in safe mode

Locate the file that has your restore points and select one from a couple of weeks ago, long before you accidentally picked this one up.

It will take some time to reset things to that point so be patient. Once you have the confirmation that the system has been restored, run all of your anti-virus software on full scan. This took two plus hours on my computer but it located the trojan and crushed it.

This particular virus shut off my anti-virus real time scanning while infecting everything. Anymore they almost always disguise themselves as an anti-virus program and won't stop till you send them money to fix the virus. Kinda ironic and nasty at the same time.

No files you have downloaded or added recently will be affected. This is mainly a reset of your setting, directories and drivers.

Hiya guys I did the safety mod thing F8 and safety mode then I run my spybot and Norton And when i run SpyBot it says there are 10 files that need removed to make the program run faster and it run and got rid of it Mikey01 THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP X

YES IT WOULD NOT LET ME OPEN ANY OF MY VIRUS PROTECTION WHEN I WAS TRYING THE VIRUS ON MY TASK BAR WOULD MAKE A POPPING SOUND AND THEN LOADED SAYING THERE WAS STUFF ON MY PC THEN ITS SETTING SAID I NEED THE FULL VERSION TO REMOVE AND I HAD TO PAY .

Thanks for your help very kind of you yes it did the same to me shut off my anti-virus :( i went into shock lol livid sad and worried it was saying some very bad stuff was on my pc not night thanks

You're probably right but viruses can be on there for days until a certain action trigger deploys them. For me, I know when a virus I had deployed, it couldn't have come from the site I was visiting when it reared it's ugly head.

But, of course other viruses deploy when downloaded. I've read about both types.

I love this site :P id never say anything bad about it so i must have thought it did , anyway its away so I think I will rest now and once again this site rocks you only have to ask for help and people do ......amazing really
