Watched this today, and I must admit, it was the craziest film Ive seen for a while, never heard of it, until I found it somewhere. Did I enjoy it, yeah, it certainly was a ride, along the same road as the grindhouse films. Anyone else seen it?

I think when the movie Grindhouse came out they ran a contest for fans to come up with their own fake grindhouse movie trailers - and these guys won.

Yep, I think Alliance (the Canadian distributor for "Grindhouse") set up the contest, and ran the winning trailer during the Canadian theatrical release of "Grindhouse" (it's on the Blu-ray and DVD too) And it was good enough so the guys worked out a deal for a full film. I agree, the posters are great, and I really want to see the film. I've heard good things about it.

This movie was filmed in my home city, Halifax. They had the big premiere here before it went wide-open. I haven't seen it yet.
