I finally upgraded from dial-up. DSL isn't too much more expensive, and all them widgets online kill the transfer.... especially since I go to sdo many nerdly sites.

Now that I've switched, does that mean dial-up is officially over?

Pretty much. It's still okay to have as a backup I suppose, but Web 2.0 pretty much castrated dial-up anyway.

I've discovered a weird problem with the new setup: since I can actually stream stuff now, I spend WAY too much time watching old Japanese cartoons on youtube.
