Took the kids to see "Enchanted".

Hey, we had a great time. It's a really clever movie.

Having two daughters, my wife and I have seen all of the Disney "princess" movies countless times. This movie plays on everyone's familiarity with all the fairy tale conventions (spontanious singing, animals cleaning a room) and it works in a very satisfying way.

Even without kids, you'd enjoy this one.

I took my class to see this on Wednesday. It was so funny! It is a movie both kids and adults will appreciate. Go see it!

It was a lot of fun. I went with the wife and kids today. It has a lot of good adult humor without resorting to the typical Shrek type humor.

Your right Goblin. Especially if you could catch any of the lyrics in the songs. There were plenty of inside jokes but nothing that you would be worried about the kids seeing or hearing.

Awwww, shucks. Well, actually, I'm a before and after school teacher, and during school breaks, (like this past week they were off for Thanksgiving break), we're open all day, so I'm able to take them on field trips. The child care center's within walking distance of a movie theatre, so we went. It was free popcorn day, so they had a ball!

We haven't seen it yet, but my wife and I both want to. We're both fans of Disney animated films, especially the old classics (Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella) and the 90s renaissance (Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin). We were concerned that 'Enchanted' would be dumbed down or eye-rollingly kiddie, but the reviews here make it sound just splendid! It's probably next on our list!

Thanks...I saw the trailer and it looked like a funny concept but thought maybe it was going to be really bad.

I'll probably take the kids to go see this weekend.

I will chime in as saying I really enjoyed this movie. Much more than I thought I would! Took the wife and son to it last Saturday, and thought it would just be something to pass the time. But as others have said, it is very clever, and examines how Disney fairy tales would work in the real world in a very funny, thorough way.

Amy Adams and James (Cyclops) Marsden both really sell their characters. Even with a good script and support from Patrick Dempsey, if they hadn't pulled off their characters, the whole movie would have failed. They were great.

A great date movie AND a great kid movie. I give it two talking chimpmunks up!

My wife and I saw it today. We both found it very amusing and likeable, as well as a clever send-up of classic Disney. The wife actually teared up in places, and we both laughed out loud several times. Amy Adams' performance alone -- especially in the scene where she goes from angry to horny in a very believable way -- makes the movie.
